This little sweetheart visited my studio with his mom and dad before he was even a week old. I was thrilled with the props that mom and dad brought and it was great to chat with them as we got the shots that we needed…after we got the little guy to sleep. The image above is one of my very favorite newborn photographs that I have taken. I loved the wooden tray that mom and dad brought, it’s a section of a wine barrel and it was just perfect for this little guy. Mom also brought along an adorable knit sweater that she had made for her son and the perfect handmade quilt that I secretly wished would be forgotten as it was the perfect colors and patterns. I know that this little guy will love the quilt for years to come. The pottery was handmade by dad and the wire basket was perfect for these parents who also raise chickens.
