I hope everyone is having a great week, it’s been a busy one here at the Owens house so this week’s three things is all about my family 🙂
1. Monday was my husband’s birthday, we had a nice quiet celebration and the kids were sooo excited to make their cards for dad and to have cake…when I pulled out the box of candles it just happened to be a box of 36 candles. So I HAD to put them all on. Had to.
2. Yesterday was my youngest son’s birthday – he turned six…I cannot believe my baby is already six! Last night before bed he brought me an old pair of his pjs and said that the night before was their last night. They are too small now, because he’s six. He’s just positive that he grew the night before as he was turning six. We had swim lessons and a pinewood derby race last night so we’re celebrating with family tonight…but I thought it would be fun to have little ice cream sundaes when we got home last night – they were more than thrilled.
3. Last night my oldest son had his Pinewood Derby race for scouts. He was pretty nervous as last year his tank that he made didn’t race very well…this year he took first and he couldn’t have been more proud! It was great seeing him so proud of himself for racing well with a car that he designed and built and painted himself. (he’s red car #79)
I want one of those Sundays :). We start the pine wood derbies next year. I remember them being a big thing for my brothers.
Love all the candles:) Maxie’s thinking is so cute and I can’t believe that he is six!!!:) And CONGRATULATIONS Jackson!!! Good going:)
