I was not aware that Matilda Jane Clothing offered clothing in adult sizes and was thrilled to find this out considering my eleven year old daughter is already over 5’7″ tall (yes…we grow them tall here in the Owens household). I’ve always loved their clothing and never thought that they would really work for my daughter as it was always tough to get her into girls clothing. When the package came in the mail, I fell in love with the packaging first (I’m a big pushover for good packaging and branding and will often make purchasing decisions based entirely on branding) and then was so very impressed with the fabrics and the colors of the pieces. The items that I received are from the Paint by Numbers Collection and the colors and tones are perfect for fall and would be great for a fall session here in Utah with the beautiful colors.

The top is the Blackberry Tunic Top and I thought that the color was just perfect with all of the yellow flowers and my daughter loved the Sandy Too Pants and thought that the fit was perfect. I’m really kind of wishing she was still a little one as so many of the outfits are just adorable, but knowing that she can still wear some of the items in the adult sizes made me so happy. So many of the items can be mixed and matched and the pieces are so well made.
