I just love this time of year. Cooler air, bright leaves and lots of family photos! This recent session was lots of fun and pretty quick and painless for all involved, even the pups! We drove up the canyon and picked a great spot that I’ve used before for sessions and got to work. I loved their clothing choices and thought that the bright orange of dad’s jacket and the orange in the son’s shoes complimented the seasonal colors all around very well. Their choices matched their personalities well, which is just what I want in a family session. Remember this when selecting your outfits for your session…pick clothing that represents you as a person and as a family as you will want your images to be a true reflection of you…and you want to be comfortable. Nothing worse than being in uncomfortable clothes and getting your picture taken. I’ve worked with this mom before photographing her work as a very talented interior designer and was thrilled to get to capture her family this season. Look for some shots of some of her work to come in a blog post soon, but for now, enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day.
This last shot above is one of my favorites from the morning. If you’re still needing to get your fall portraits done, don’t hesitate to get on the schedule. There is limited availability in mini sessions and there are also some weekday slots open, but they are filling up fast!
