Meeting and photographing this family was one of my favorite days. I loved this session so very much and am so glad to be able to share it here. This was one of those sessions where things just all went right…and when I got home to view the images I knew that I had captured their family as they had hoped. Lifestyle photography is one of my favorite kinds of sessions to shoot because this is what I love about the images of my own family…seeing us how we are right now. The images of everyone looking at the camera are also very important, but this little peek into this family’s life at this moment (even a couple years later…more sessions from this family to come) shows them who they were then. When they only had one child (they have two now) who wasn’t even walking yet. These images capture a little moment in time that I hope they treasure for years to come.
