My good friend Jennel and I decided to make the trip to Midway, Utah to view the Ice Castles that we’d heard about and and seen on the news. We made the trek past Park City and as we began traveling over the mountains the snow began to fall. We were worried that our little photo field trip would be cut short by the weather but we continued to brave the roads (she was driving, thankfully) and made it to our destination. When we arrived we were surprised that there wasn’t a line…until we saw that they didn’t open until 2pm. We were a good 45 minutes away from home (and the older kids who were all at school), it was still before 11am and we really didn’t want to make the trip again, so we decided to have some lunch at a cute little cafe and then head back to the castles when they opened.
Amazing!!! Would love to go there next year:)
