For the prompt this week I thought it seemed like an easy one for me…my daughter is always curling or straightening her hair, or adding a cute bow or fun braid. But when I saw her at the table doing her nails as she does nearly every weekend (if not more than once), I knew that was going to be the focus this week.

Are you photographing those little moments that go on in your home throughout the day? My daughter paints her nails all the time…so why should I worry about getting a photo? She’ll always do this. But what if she doesn’t? What if it is just a phase? What if she no longer keeps her nails short so that she doesn’t rip her swim cap or scratch someone in a basketball game? Time moves quickly…don’t forget to photograph the little things in life.
