I know I said that I wasn’t going to post more about my London trip, but in going through all my instagram images, I couldn’t resist assembling some collages with all those cute little squares. There is something about a square image that I just love. Although I did have my big camera along with me for the trip, my iphone is always close by and I took many photos with that little camera – and instagrammed a lot of them – for my memory book that I was planning to create when I arrived home…that album is still in the planning stages, but soon will become reality. Once it’s complete, I’ll post some of those pages here.
These collages are somewhat in order of our trip (there were some photos that I could see on my phone, but for some reason didn’t turn up when I transferred them…isn’t that weird?) So, please excuse the excess of images and enjoy a little peek into London Carrie style in a collection of squares.
I’m so grateful for this trip, to see these places in person was more amazing than I could have imagined. I know these images above aren’t technically perfect, but seeing them this way walks me back through our trip and makes me feel like I’m back in Jolly Ole London.
[…] Recently the little sis and I had the chance to tag along with my husband on a work trip to London. It was a bit spur of the moment for the two of us to make the trip, but we made it work and we had a great time seeing the sights. We were often reminded of our childhoods in the Northwest with all of the rain, but the architecture and the surroundings were nothing like what we had seen before. We were armed with cameras and iphones and took lots of photos. I posted some posts on my photography blog of the photos taken with my Canon, but I wanted to share an instagram collage that I put together of our trip here on this blog. The rest of the collages can be found on my photography blog in a post here showing all of the London instagrams. […]
