Taking time for your high school senior photo session isn’t usually high on the to-do list for guys – but I promise it’s worth it! They usually aren’t looking forward to smiling for the camera, the thought of outfit changes isn’t something they are begging for. But once we get them out there, they’ll start having a little fun. Making sure that they take part in the planning (if they’re open to it) and asking for thoughts on what they want it to look like, where they might want the session is helpful. Making them comfortable is key, and know that for sure we’re going to try and get a couple mother and son photos, this is your warning. (I also might tear up, but that’s fairly typical at my senior sessions).
Let’s look for ways to have your son’s senior sessions become something you both can look back on and smile. Let’s get creative and come up with a session that he loves. This session in the canyon was one of my favorites, he was great to work with and happy to go along with the flow.
