I photographed this family early on in my photography life and I remember thinking how much this mom made me happy. I felt connected to her somehow and I so very much enjoyed photographing her family. She had a great energy about her that made me happy in each of our interactions. That sessions is still one of my favorites and I clearly remember her showing up with a rolly suitcase of clothing options for her kids – I LOVED that!! When she emailed me a couple years later to ask about getting the rest of her images from her session, we began communicating more often and set up another shoot for her sweet family in the studio. Since that day, we have remained in contact and she has taken a bigger role in my life and I’m grateful for our friendship. I loved this session and wanted to share some of my favorite images here.
