What do you collect?
I’m a collector…or hoarder. Somewhat similar actually, but I tell myself I’m really more of a collector. My kids are as well, but that might be because of me. I’m ok with that. I love old cameras and I have several (with many more on my wishlist). I collect pens and scrapbook supplies, books and prints from Etsy. And I collect anything with a 3 on it. My kids collect Legos and action figures and dolls and nail polish and have several little collections displayed throughout their rooms. My husband has a sports card collection from when he was young and he has a collection of gaming systems (we even have an old Atari).
I challenge you to start thinking about what you collect…and maybe you don’t collect anything. That’s ok. But if there is something that you love and that you collect, make sure that you’re documenting it. Some things to consider when photographing your collections:
