No matter where you live there is beauty around you in nature…are you taking notice?

Every season is amazing where I live and I’m always trying to capture that on my phone or with my camera…and it never seems to do the scene justice. But that doesn’t stop me from trying. I often times will pull of the side of the road (the image above was taken on my drive home on a road that gets more and more beautiful with each season).

Look around you…what do you see beyond the things right in front of you? Are you a nature lover or someone who sees nature as they go along their days? I’m somewhere in between for sure, but the beauty around me is amazing.

Some tips and ideas on what to capture out in nature:

• Look around at your everyday life…what beautiful things do you see? The sky, the ground, the trees…beauty is everywhere.
• Are the leaves falling where you are? Notice the beauty of the simple leaves in all of their colors on your driveway or lawn.
• Sunsets and sunrises…if you’re lucky enough to see them, don’t let them go undocumented.
• The way that you can see nature in your surroundings today is going to be very different than how you will see it in 20 years, take the time to document it
