My little one is growing so fast…well, they all are. But for that last one, you just want to hang on to it a little longer. He’s the last one that has little legs too short to touch the ground when he sits at the dinner table. He sits next to me when we eat dinner every night and he still will rest his hand on my leg as we eat sometimes. He doesn’t like milk with his cereal, so he always pours himself a bowl of plain Cherrios and I often see him hugging the bowl in between bites. He’s been home sick for too many days, but I’ve missed those days where we got to hang out when he was just in school half days. Growing up is good, and I don’t really need him to slow down, he’s doing great. I just need to remember to take the time to document these everyday little moments as they will be gone before I know it.
When I first saw that picture with the cereal bowl, I knew it had to be Maxie – no milk:) I’m so glad you got those shots but I know that I will always be able to visualize him eating his breakfast:) Great pictures:)
