Recently I had the pleasure of photographing an extended family of a bride and groom that I photographed just over a year ago. I worried about the weather all day…living here in Utah (as compared to growing up in Washington) I’ve always loved that sun is pretty much a standard in the summer. Well, that isn’t the case this summer and we battled dark skies and rain on and off all day. When it came time for our session that evening, the skies were overcast (perfect) and the rain let up…until I drove away after the session and noticed a few random raindrops. Here are a few of my favorites from this session of this University of Maryland football loving family (dad is one of the football coaches at the UoM).

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting a local high school senior for a windy session at a nearby popular photography spot. The wind cooperated with us enough and because of the weather we pretty much had the place to ourselves to explore and get lots of great shots. I love meeting with these young adults, such a great time in their lives and a wonderful time to make sure to document as they grow up. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the afternoon below…enjoy!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the sweet family of four at one of my very favorite spots. I was so thrilled when they showed up with lots of outfit options and fun ideas. I love it when that happens! There are so many great shots from this session, but I’m just showing a few now.

This past week I took my own three out for a little photo shoot before the fall gets too busy. We went to one of my very favorite spots and got lots of great images.
