This week our creative prompt was to create an image in black and white. I had several ideas in mind all week thinking about what I might want to create. We had a great snowstorm on Tuesday and I had every intention of getting out there and getting some great snow images…but life got the best of me and the camera stayed on my desk. While pulling into my garage yesterday morning, I looked out at our bare branches of my favorite trees in the front yard…and thought ” there we go”. So although it’s not an amazing take on the black&white theme…it’s my take

This week we were given the prompt “guilt”…I thought that was pretty funny coming off of a week of “resolution” and so my image was pretty easy for me. I am still doing great with my fitness routines and really enjoying getting stronger and more athletic, but I still have one vice that I can’t seem to shake and that is my soda…diet coke? Nope…that’s regular Cherry Pepsi and it’s just not good for me. And so I’m quitting, slowly. I would probably do a lot better if I would just go cold turkey, but that has been hard this week. But that is my goal…no more soda, no more guilt about drinking it.

No…this little trip up the canyon wasn’t planned…so please excuse the outfits, the uncombed hair and no socks on Mr Max. I said let’s go, they said ok and I get what I get and I can’t throw a fit

So please excuse the technically not perfect shot of the view I had while watching my family play…and yes, all three kids were out there…I just couldn’t get a shot with all of them without exposing the complete disaster of my kitchen

and here is the bowl (one of many) of cherries…I thought they looked so cool, each one a perfect little red heart…I don’t really like cherries though. Any ideas on what to do with them all????

I just don’t think anything needs to be said…she’s just beautiful.
