another What to Wear Wednesday for carrieowensphotography…This week’s example comes from the help of a photographer friend of mine Kelsey Anderson, who has created some great combinations to get your mind going in selecting your outfits for your session. When selecting your outfits for your session, remember texture and accessories! Hopefully we can start getting down to some serious sessions, say goodbye to our crazy Utah weather and have some fun!
Becky Higgins is someone that I have admired from the beginnings of my scrapbooking obsession. After I began teaching for CK and Simple Scrapbooks I was lucky enough to get to meet her and now can call her a friend. I look back on the first time I met her as a fellow teacher and remember being so star struck thinking how crazy it was that I was able to go to lunch with her and some of the other big names that I admired so much. I am pretty sure that I even told her that, and I remember her laughing at me, thinking I was silly for feeling that way. Becky is a generous and kind person and I am so proud to be a part of her Giveaway. It’s bee a hectic and crazy week with my mom in town, the school year wrapping up and performances and “informances” and pj day and the school fun run and swimming wrapping up for two and still going strong for one and soccer coming to an end…and I’m tired just tying that 
So next week I’ll be back to posting more often, but for now, I wanted to showcase a few fun ideas for your senior portraits with the help of a photographer friend of mine Kelsey Anderson. Remember, it’s not too late to get your senior photos done…and if you’re a junior it’s the perfect time to schedule your session!

carrieowens|photography is looking for high school juniors who are positive and outgoing who will be graduating from any high school in the Greater Salt Lake area in 2011 (West Jordan, South Jordan, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Draper, Midvale, Murray, etc) to be selected as cop|senior reps. Those selected will get their senior portraits taken for FREE and earn unique photo rewards like rep cards, phone skins and proof books! Signed model release will be required. carrieowens|photography will only choose one to two senior models per Utah high school, so if you’re interested in finding out more, please email me at carrieowensphotography@gmail.com. The deadline to apply is June 1st.
