It’s snowing here in Utah, and I am such a happy camper! It’s not doing a whole lot of damage, and that is for the best. But I do adore the snow! There is something so peaceful and beautiful and calming looking out the window to see the snow coming down.
I’ve been looking forward to posting more of the images from the wedding at the beginning of this month, so here they are. This couple was such a delight to be around, their family and friends were great and so fun to work with. I was so happy to be a part of their magical day, they are a wonderful couple and I wish them the best!
The ceremony took place at Le Jardin and was simply beautiful and elegant. There were so many great spots to take photos and to explore. After the ceremony they headed to Market Street Grill for some lunch and more photos at this very fun venue. The photo below was one that we were able to get while at Market Street and has become one of my favorites!
Later that evening we gathered in North Salt Lake at the bride’s aunt and uncle’s house for more festivities. There was a wonderful spread of food for dinner and many desserts as well as the cake cutting and a nighttime getaway complete with sparklers. Thanks again to the happy couple, I had a great time and I hope you love your images!
I’ve known this family for years…in fact if I think about how long I’ve known them, it just makes me feel old 
It was a pleasure to head up the canyon with them and get a few photos done, including a four generation girls photo! The trip back down the canyon was a little more interesting, but I’m glad everything worked out! Thanks F family for a great morning together. So happy to finally have a new blog home. Editing is easier, importing photos is easier…both things that make my life easier! Please update bookmarks as the old blog will no longer be updated. You will find all old carrieowensphotography|blog content has moved here as well, however old personal Carrie Owens blog info has not (although that wasn’t getting updated very often anyway). Thank you for your support and with the new and easy blog, I hope to be updating on a more regular basis!
It’s almost been a year since I first met this cute family. It’s been so great watching their adorable son grow up. He’s got the sweetest smile, one that lights up his face when he grins…thanks for letting me join you on this cold windy day, enjoy your little peek

This lovely newly married couple is somewhere warm right now, but as I sit in my chilly Utah home I can’t help but share one quick photo.
